A focus on the environment

Currently, our farm already proves significant investment into the environment. Restoration of the peatland bog on fleet moss in the centre of the Yorkshire dales is a fantastic example. It is of international importance for wildlife, plant species, and the carbon it stores, as it supports ecosystem function and enhances biodiversity.  We have designated wild bird covers and managed meadows for increased biodiversity. We are involved in projects including wildlife conservation - protecting and monitoring endangered ground nesting birds such as curlew, skylark, snipe, lapwing and more. The farm provides the perfect habitat for them to thrive.
